Skills: Aligning Mission & Finances

The Leadership Skills courses can be accomplished online in two to three hours. You’ll gain an understanding of the topic, obtain resources, and acquire insights that can immediately be applied to your practice. You’ll also be invited to take a deeper dive and register for an Impact course.

Skills Course Outcomes
  • Reflect upon the importance of strategically aligning resources to support the mission and vision and ensure the school’s long-term sustainability.
  • Select resources to serve as “primer documents” for developing a school budget including: a financial checklist, sample budget presentations for faculty, budget development calendar, comparison of types of school budgets, and a glossary of budget terms.
  • Rethink the importance of communication and transparency around issues of finance.
